Labour Cabaret

This year the Cabaret is proud to headline The Uncas! Whether you call them Alt-Country, Shed-Rock, or Whisky Cow Punk, they’ll have you shakin’ it on the dance floor quicker than you can say ‘two-step”. The City Streets bring you music inspired by the streets where we live, die, cry, sing and spare a dime. Guy Smith and the Revtones are here with songs that touch your head, heart and feet. Notre Dame des Bananes will sing you songs of solidarity and Eshod Ibn Wyza will inspire you with their ode to May Day, commissioned especially for our celebration of labour, arts and culture. Emcee E will tie it all together with his socially and politically charged spoken word. And it will all be broadcast LIVE on CJSR 88.5 FM!
