The City Streets
Inspired by the city streets where we live, die, cry, sing, drink and smoke and spare a dime and whisper things in a lovers ear and run from the darkness that threatens to surround us all. Fusing influences from rock, pop, punk, jazz, country, folk, metal, literature, film, art and travel. The City Streets are creating a free-form musical expression with numerous contributers and no pre-conceptions or specific ideal - other than to let the song dictate what should be played where and what style it will embody. Visit the The City Streets website.

Emcee E
Born as Ian Nana Yaw Adu Budu Keteku, Emcee E feels even his birth name is poetic and contributes to his seemingly innate talent. His poetry is refreshing in the sense that it speaks to a universal audience as opposed to a strictly an urban one. From his socially and politically charged words that at times can be tongue in cheek to his eclectic, yet still "hip-hop" sound, Emcee E refuses to be typical. He defines his poetry as “critical oratory”, feeling compelled to speak on the issues he feels are not thought about regularly. He loves to use his words to inspire messages of peace, action and critical thought. Emcee E feels that using his voice to speak for the voiceless is an honorable quest that he will never stop. Red Hot Daggers
Waking up in a cold sweat, the silence of night is deafening. Surrounded by a blackness so tangible it's suffocating. But somewhere in all of this there are echoes like tendrils of melodies ebbing at the mind. Residual dreamscapes flash on the backs of eyelids. There was something to remember, but it is forgotten... The Revtones
The Revtones exude a lifetimes worth of passion for music, and a compulsion to communicate (and sometimes agitate) through their original songs. Underlying the musical influences and musical direction of The Revtones would be the lyrical content of the original songs. Many of them have a political edge and condemn oppression, violence and inequality while celebrating struggle and victory. However, The Revtones go far beyond political statement to embrace and articulate the complexities of the human condition in the modern world. Visit the The Revtones website.

The Uncas
"Full of truly wild and beautiful country music, which strays deeply into the psychedelic, bursting with compositional imagination and layered singing sweeter than tiramisu... The Uncas roam from Devo to Steve Earle to the Flying Burritos, from hokey to strokey to folkie to jokey, but with an impressive deck of pop cards..."
